The player finds theirself behind a winch operated crane, with an electromagnet attached to the end. The object of the game is for them to pick up the weights scattered about the floor and place them on a weight sensitive pad which, when containing sufficient weight, will release the cage containing the crystal. This, in turn, can be picked up by the magnet and wheeled toward them. Although it was never explained to them by Richard, the largest of the weights, the blue one, was heavy enough to complete the game. If the player opted for the smaller red or yellow weight, they would need a second.
