Feed the God

Placed beside the door was a chest of gold coins. The chest was, of course, imovable; requiring the contestant to carry as many coins as possible across the rickety rope-bridge. Every last coin needed to be 'fed' to the god statue, via its mouth, before the crystal would be released to roll down a guttering.
